“...We Would Not Have Slain the Prophets...”

“And now when ye talk, ye say: If our days had been in the days of our fathers of old, we would not have slain the prophets; we would not have stoned them, and cast them out.

26 Behold ye are worse than they; for as the Lord liveth, if a prophet come among you and declareth unto you the word of the Lord, which testifieth of your sins and iniquities, ye are angry with him, and cast him out and seek all manner of ways to destroy him; yea, you will say that he is a false prophet, and that he is a sinner, and of the devil, because he testifieth that your deeds are evil.

27 But behold, if a man shall come among you and shall say: Do this, and there is no iniquity; do that and ye shall not suffer; yea, he will say: Walk after the pride of your own hearts; yea, walk after the pride of your eyes, and do whatsoever your heart desireth—and if a man shall come among you and say this, ye will receive him, and say that he is a prophet.

28 Yea, ye will lift him up, and ye will give unto him of your substance; ye will give unto him of your gold, and of your silver, and ye will clothe him with costly apparel; and because he speaketh flattering words unto you, and he saith that all is well, then ye will not find fault with him” (Helaman 13:25-28).

Elijah’s Return

 This is a great explanation of the anticipated return of Elijah, which we have perpetuated in the church as having happened already.

The Story of the Faithful

 This is a story of an Amish man that was called to minister at a young age. He started to recognize inconsistencies in their culture and practices when compared to the Bible.

I have seen a similar road as I have chosen the gospel of Jesus Christ over the church. The Lord has guided me to many faithful Christians. Many of of them have also been at odds with their church but in harmony with God’s word and His Spirit. They share a similar story to this Amish man. Jesus was in harmony with His Father but at odds with the church that He set up with Moses hundreds of years before He came. The Jewish church had fallen into apostasy and could not recognize the Messiah when He came to them.

It’s interesting how the Lord allows bad things to happen to the faithful in order that they might learn to have no other gods before Him. These idols may be family, friends or church. He said, “ If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters or husband yea, and his own life also; or in other words, is afraid to lay down his life for my sake, he cannot be my disciple” (JST Luke 14:26).

 I can empathize with this man and his family in this film. I believe the Lord is calling His true disciples from all religious church groups. His sheep hear His voice and know Him.

May the Lord bless you as you choose Him.

Cursings for False Beliefs and False Doctrine

I was in Alma today and pondering the false beliefs and teachings of King Lamoni and his father, the king of all the Lamanites. Lamoni’s father accused Lamoni of listening to and then helping a liar and how the cunning and lying of Ammon and his brethren would deceive their people.

We all see through the paradigm we are taught by our family, church and culture. We choose what we believe but it can be hard to break down those barriers we believe are true. The Lamanites had covenant cursings that were being broken by Lamoni accepting the truth but his father initially fought against the light of truth because it was counter to their cultural teachings and practices.

Brigham Young also led his people into a new culture with different doctrines, beliefs and practices than Joseph Smith had taught and practiced when he was on the earth. When we break covenants we enter into covenant cursings. The scriptures speak of cursings up to the 3rd and 4th generations. Now we are coming into the 3rd and 4th generation since Brigham’s teachings. Many are recognizing the truth of the gospel that is in contrast to Brigham’s teachings. Brigham taught:

1-blacks are cursed and cannot have priesthood power

2-Adam/God Theory

3-Blood atonement

4-Polygamy

5-Swearing by your throat

6-Top down leadership model of follow the leader no matter what

Brigham tried to attribute these things to Joseph Smith but as we study Joseph’s words and teachings we find that Joseph ordained Elijah Abel, a black man, to the priesthood and called him as a 70. He taught ours and Adam’s proper relationship to God. He taught that only Jesus Christ can redeem us. We cannot redeem ourselves by being killed to atone for our sins. As the Book of Mormon teaches, it could not be the sacrifice of a man that would redeem us. He was excommunicating members for practicing polygamy, plural marriage or spiritual wifery. He clearly taught the words of Jesus, that we should perform no oath to a man and definitely not a blood oath by our throat. (I have many citings in my previous posts to help you start your search to find out for yourself if this is true).

Joseph and the scriptures teach clearly of the damning effect of following a leader without receiving your own revelation that the dictates from that man or woman are in alignment with God. I have written extensively on this subject. Doctrine and Covenants 107 clearly points out that the upper quorums in the church are to check and balance each other but the church has evolved with Brigham instituting the top-down model. It becomes a test of faith to follow the leader who presides over you, then you are promoted and you promote those under you who follow you. The direction comes from the top and if you follow the one above you then you will eventually arrive at the top of the leadership model. This creates loyalty to man and not to God. If we are loyal to God then He gives us His power. He eventually calls us by His own voice, not by the voice of a man. JST Genesis 14:25-40 explains clearly how one receives the higher priesthood and the power associated with being chosen by God.

In speaking of Melchizedek, the record states; “And thus, having been approved of God, he was ordained an high priest after the order of the covenant which God made with Enoch, 28 It being after the order of the Son of God; which order came, not by man, nor the will of man; neither by father nor mother; neither by beginning of days nor end of years; but of God; 29 And it was delivered unto men by the calling of his own voice, according to his own will, unto as many as believed on his name.” (JST Genesis 14:27-29).

Any ordination or ordinance in the church should be a call to greater righteousness. It doesn’t mean you are chosen. Hence, many are called by few are chosen. You are chosen when God chooses you by His own voice. Blood relations or men’s errors in judgment don’t have any bearing on you being chosen an high priest after the order of the Son of God. He employeth no servant there (JST Genesis 14:27-29).

I added this last part because of the false beliefs and false traditions that have rooted into the church. Once we realize that we can have a personal relationship with God and He can call us without ecclesiastical authority, then we experience freedom in carrying out His word as His true disciples.

Then the blessings of the fathers distill upon our souls, the promises made to the fathers are planted in our hearts and our only desire is to serve God and His children with clean hands and pure hearts, going forth in God’s power.

We See Through a Glass Darkly

 I was reading and pondering in Alma 20:8-13. The whole chapter reveals more principles but just these few verses have had me fixated on some key principles that I only see now because of my experiences lately. The scriptures are beautiful because they speak to us in different ways according to how much we are knocking, asking, seeking, receiving and acting upon what we receive. The reality is we are changing and not the scriptures. We are at different levels of light and truth and so the Lord can speak to us through these vehicles of light. The truth is that all of the Lord’s creation testifies of Him and so in our life’s experiences, He is speaking to us. We may have a similar experience as a previous one we’ve had but this time we may have a different response because we have grown and matured spiritually on our path to becoming as He is.

I’m so grateful for this mortal experience and the grace that God gives us in it. Prophecies are being fulfilled. There is no time with God but I believe this second estate we’ve chosen to live in here is coming to an end and we are at a critically steep part in the trail. We can allow Him to reach down and lift us up to higher vistas or we can stay on the easy paths at the base of the mountain before us. The easy path will not stretch us and will end in damnation. We will never be lifted up to the beautiful vista at the peak of the mountain. Moses was at the top of the mountain, beckoning his people to rise up and see the Lord with Him but they would not. They told Moses to speak with Him and let them know what they should do. So he did. He gave them lower laws to work on because they didn’t want the Melchizedek laws that would raise them up to Him.

Many of us have the Melchizedek laws. Are we really using them to give away all of our sins to know Him? Are we pure in heart? Jesus taught that the pure in heart would see God. Notice it is the pure in heart, not the perfect. What idols do we have in our hearts? The Lord is making it more and more obvious to us if we have put our faith and trust in Him or in an idol. He is allowing the idols to self-destruct. If we have our faith in these idols then we will self-destruct with them. The bottom of the mountain is crumbling, we must climb it to stay above it.

I picture it being like the end of the Lord of the Rings. Frodo and Samwise went up the mountain and everything was crumbling around them. At the last moment the eagles miraculously appear and carry them to safety after they fulfilled their missions.

It is interesting that eagles were used in this story. If you want an incredible study, go to JST Revelation 12 and the sign of the woman and all that transpired September 23, 2017. Then go to Revelation 13:14 and cross reference that to JST Luke 17:37-38. The Lord will give you what you are ready for.

God is good. I love Him. I know His gospel is true. Jesus showed us the way and prepared the way that we might know how to follow Him up unto eternal life. Safety and peace is found in following the Lord.

Gentile Apostasy

Jesus taught His disciples key things to do to avoid deception in the last days right before His coming. It is the JST Matthew 24 or JS—Matthew. I would spend significant time pondering, praying about and studying His words. D

Apostasy: When individuals or groups of people turn away from the principles of the gospel, they are in a state of apostasy.

Jesus prophesied/foretold of the Gentile Apostasy. 3 Nephi 16:10

To understand the relevance of the gentile apostasy we must understand who the gentiles are. Jesus Christ told us who the gentiles are through His words in scripture: https://bilbaochristian.blogspot.com/2019/05/the-fulness-of-gospel-of-jesus-christ-3.html

Nephi prophesied/foretold of the gentile apostasy. 2 Nephi 28

Moroni prophesied/foretold of the gentile apostasy. He also shared that he saw our day and would speak unto us as if we were present. Mormon 8:33-41 but the whole chapter is pertinent.

Isaiah prophesied/foretold of the gentile apostasy. Isaiah 28. The whole book of Isaiah is full of this prophesied apostasy. Jesus said that we should study the words of Isaiah for all things that he spake have been and shall be (3 Nephi 23:1-5).

Joseph Smith prophesied/foretold of the day of wrath and where it would begin and why (Doctrine and Covenants 112:23-29).

Peter prophesied/foretold of the judgment to begin upon the house of God (1 Peter 4:17-18).

Matthew shared about this back and forth between the house of Israel and the gentiles and finally the gentile apostasy (JST Matthew 21:51-56).

Moroni saw our day and then warned of a secret combination that would seek to overthrow the freedom of all lands. He shares these things so that we won’t allow these combinations to get above us (Ether 8:20-26).

——————————————————————————————————-

Please spend significant time in prayer, study and fasting about the gentile apostasy, the time of the gentiles being fulfilled and what it means to you. By their fruits we can discern false prophets from true prophets. His word will keep us from being deceived (JST Matthew 24).

By their fruits...

UN has Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030

UN would have us lose our sovereignty through One World Order. That would mean we lose the rule of law through the loss of the constitution, which the Lord revealed was given to us by wise men whom He raised up for that very purpose (Doctrine and Covenants 101:77-80).

Speaking of the Pope, Pres. Nelson said, “How fortunate the Catholic people are to have such a gracious, concerned, loving, and capable leader.” You can do your research on who the pope is.

“The connection that the president made with His Holiness was a wonderful thing,” said President Ballard.

Pres Nelson referred to the pope as His Holiness. https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/church/news/president-nelson-meets-with-pope-francis-at-the-vatican?lang=eng

“His Holiness” is a phrase reserved for Deity. There is only one that is holy. We should have no other gods before Him.

Church leadership excommunicating or disfellowshipping its members for sharing the words of Jesus and Joseph Smith and all the holy prophets in scripture.

Church has paid clergy in violation of the principles taught in the Book of Mormon.

In 3 Nephi 27 Jesus clearly explains the difference between His gospel and when a church is His church.

There are satanists that have worked their way into the leadership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There are wolves in sheep’s clothing, as prophesied by our Lord. We will do well to follow the counsel of the Lord and, “Take heed that no man deceive you...beware of false prophets...whoso treasureth up my word shall not be deceived...by their fruits ye shall know them” (JST Matthew 24 or JS—Matthew, 3 Nephi 14, Matthew 7).

The Book of Mormon warns of flattery, telling people what they want to hear, smooth sayings, saying that all is well in Zion. True prophets preach repentance and to follow the Lord, Jesus Christ. They teach us to come unto Him.

Declaring wearing a mask to be equal to loving your neighbor (“Wearing a face covering is a sign of Christlike love for our brothers and sisters.” Elder Renlund) is like playing one key on a piano. Each key on the piano represents an aspect of what it looks like to love your neighbor. We must look at the whole truth and not one truth that can be derived from twisting the scriptures to teach our own truth. Charity includes rejoicing in the truth (Moroni 7:45).

May God be with you as you decide to forsake all for the kingdom of God. As you do, you will notice that the prophecy of Jesus in JST Matthew 24 (JS—Matthew) will happen to you.

——————————————————————————

The rest of this is from a friend. I will let you research and draw your own conclusions. I know the scriptures are true. Fulfillment of scripture will always come.

Meridian magazine scrubs their own article “Area Seventy Pfizer Head of Anti-Viral Has Good News On Covid-19”

Controversial

Meridian Magazine has wiped an article they posted July 9th detailing an interview with Richard S. Hutchins, an area seventy of the church as well as an executive director for pharmaceutical sciences for Pfizer.

However, the comments on the scrubbed articles relating to "Area Seventy, Pfizer Head of Anti-Viral" are still in place;

https://latterdaysaintmag.com/comments/?id=166791

I notice that sometimes we are blocked here in Utah from content in search engines that provides negative information on the LDS church. However, search engines in foreign countries will often pull up content which we can't access here.

So an Area Seventy is an executive director for pharmaceutical sciences for Pfizer? Pfizer is producing xxx million doses of covid vaccine for Americans (and world wide ?). The LDS church owns an estimated 73 million in shares of Pfizer?

For now we are told that " “Wearing a face covering is a sign of Christlike love for our brothers and sisters.”

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/lds-apostle-dale-renlund-feeling-well-after-covid-diagnosis-other-church-leaders-test-negative/ar-BB1bPDJQ

So if the LDS church owns stock in the company producing the official vaccine for Covid, and it would obviously be to their financial advantage to promote this vaccine to their members, may we then expect a talk by a general authority in the near future saying that "Being vaccinated for Covid is a sign of Christlike love for our brothers and sisters" ?

If so, does that mean that anyone (LDS or not) who chooses NOT to be vaccinated is not exhibiting "Christlike love for our brothers and sisters"?

May those who refuse vaccination then be labeled as "antiChrist" and persecuted (and killed) by those who consider themselves showing true Christlike love for their brothers and sisters?

(Acts 23:12-22)

 "...yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you".

"Thanks to Joey Lambardi, the Man responsible for leaking this video. He was set up on charges and imprisoned. Please research this topic. In Lombardi's own words...

"I was on this assignment that seemed really bizarre.  It just didn't make any sense, you know?  I was told that I was to document a war hero's return home from Iraq.  That was it -- simple right?  But the normal chain of command was altered.  In this case, the first time in six years, I was to report to a CIA named agent Fleming as well as Army Col. Harris who from what I gather was a big wig intel guy at the pentagon.  So, that was weird, especially for such a boring sounding assignment.  It got weirder when I was mailed a package that contained a DVD and a stack of documents.  There were a lot of things blacked out, but it was all stuff related to FunVax.  The package was address to me, it was sent to the house where I where I was, you know, videotaping, the family that I was documenting.

There were two videos actually.  One looked like a homemade amateur video that was of a party in a common area, like a lunch room or something.  There's a cake that says "FunVax is a Go" on it and there was a sign that said Congratulations FunVax.  But that was all the funvax related information.  It was just a normal party, the people were talking about normal things.  The second video was a lot more informative.  It was DoD footage from a lecture hall in the pentagon.  The video was date stamped 4/13/05 so someone was holding onto this for awhile.  I received it, the second week of February of this year.  So, on it, it had one of the guys from the other video, the party video, giving a presentation.  I just have an 8 minute clip from this presentation, but basically, this guy, he must be a scientist.  This guy is giving a lecture about the brain and a gene called VMAT2 to a group of men in suits as well as various military uniforms.   He talks about religion and was showing MRI brain scans.  He said that the inhibition of VMAT2 could, over time, cause a persons brain to shift from a religious brain structure, they scientifically, you know they call it phenotype...but basically, you can change a religious brain to a non-religious brain structure.  VMAT2 is apparently the scientific name for what people term the God Gene.    At the end of the clip he says that he filed a proposal under the name FunVax to begin experimenting with the VMAT2 gene with the goal of creating a virus, like the flu virus, that will remove or replace this gene from people in the Middle East.  Their goal of course was to create peace in the Middle East."

What Really Is Eternal Life?

 Joseph Smith taught a sermon near the end of his life. It has been called the King Follett discourse. Some have summarized that discourse with the couplet of Lorenzo Snow, “As man is, God once was. As God now is, man may become.” As I’ve studied the gospel, fasted and prayed and had experiences, this to me is one of the crowning, liberating doctrines that Joseph restored. Any doctrine less than this will ultimately dam our progression.

There are many scriptures Joseph used to develop his thoughts that we are here to become as God is. One must commune with God. One must understand who He is and rise up to see and feel the way God does. He instituted the Lectures on Faith into our canon, with the approval of the church, to help us know how to come to know God and become like Him.

Jesus said, “And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent” (John 17:3).

In other words, eternal life is KNOWING God and Jesus Christ. Is knowing about Them eternal life? Can I study the scriptures and everything that has been written about them to the point that I know Them?

If I were to study the life of George Washington and become an expert on everything he did and said I would still fall short of knowing him. These things will aid me in my quest but to truly know him I’d have to walk the same steps he walked. I would have to know what it felt like to lead a rag tag army against the most powerful army on the earth. I’d have to see my troops starving and frozen, giving up everything for freedom’s sake. I’d have to be away from my family, suffering in the cold with my troops over the holidays and cross the icy Delaware River, praying that we could somehow, with God’s aid, get a victory that would give us hope in winning the war.

There is no way to KNOW someone until you have experienced the same gut-wrenching experiences. So, when we know that eternal life is coming to know God and Jesus Christ, we will need to make a conscience decision that we are willing to walk the path of Jesus. I believe embedded in the statement, “come, follow Me.” Jesus is inviting us to enjoy eternal life. He is inviting us to walk the paths that He trod. Feel the sorrow, the pain and the agonies that He felt. To experience the true joys that He feels and the peace that comes from faith to fulfil the will of our Father and Mother in heaven.

We learn a great truth from Alma. He shared this about the Lord, Jesus Christ, “ And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.

12 And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.

13 Now the Spirit knoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the flesh that he might take upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me” (Alma 7:11-13).

From these verses we learn that the Lord could have known through the Spirit how to succor His people but He suffered according to the flesh, a mortal experience, that He may know according to the flesh how to succor us. In other words, the Spirit could have whispered to Him the mechanics of how to do it but by going through it Himself, He could now know what we feel and therefore, come and really help us because He walked the path we walk.

Same with us. In order to know the Lord, we can’t just be told by the Spirit what it feels like to be rejected by our own. As we keep the commandments of the Lord, we will go through many similar experiences to the Savior.

For example, He preached repentance to the church and was rejected and crucified by them because of it. He was unfettered by the traditions of men and as He sought to break down the false traditions and false beliefs He was ridiculed and shamed. They mocked Him, spit upon Him and completely rejected Him.

If we are sincere about discipleship and about receiving eternal life, it will not happen academically only. It will be a physical, mortal experience. It won’t be a video game that we fake we are experiencing, it will be a tangible, heart-wrenching walk and even a crawl at times. We will come to know why the Lord cried out, “My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46).

Line upon line, precept upon precept, we learn the commandments of God in scripture and as we act upon them He reveals more and more of His word to us. The scriptures don’t change, we change and the scales of unbelief drop from our minds and hearts as we gain capacity to live the full meaning of the law.

Eventually we become like the great disciples in the scriptures. We are given specific assignments by the Lord. For example, Lehi, a normal member of the Jewish faith community, was asked by the Lord to preach to the people that destruction was coming to Jerusalem. He learned a lot about how the Lord would feel 600 years later. He felt what rejection by family and friends felt like. He was rejected by the leaders of the church that Moses had established. We know this because most stayed behind and were destroyed for their unrighteousness. Some of his sons came without completely believing him.

Another example is Nephi. He was given instructions to build a boat. Were these instructions given in the Ten Commandments? No, it was an individual assignment. He learned to hear the word of the Lord to him, individually. He learned what it was like to be given more information, from time to time as he completed each part of the assignment. He also learned what it felt liked to be mocked by his brothers as he worked on the commandment given to him.

The sons of Mosiah forsook an earthly kingdom to preach the word of God. Again, this was not a commandment given to everyone, but rather one they desired to do and felt the approval of the Lord. They came to know what it felt like to have their lives at risk because of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We cannot receive eternal life by simply being baptized, going to the temple, being sealed to our spouse and then going to church to take the sacrament. These things are great steps that help point us to the Savior but we must be very aware that as we enter the path and are faithful to His commandments, He will invite us to follow other commandments from HIm and then also be creative in doing many things of our own free will to bring to pass much righteousness. Like the brother of Jared, he brought stones to the Lord and asked Him to light them. The Lord is a creator and the closer we come to Him, the more He will allow us to use our own creativity to choose how to help Him in His work of bringing to pass the eternal life of man.

I love the description of Ether, “And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them” (Ether 12:27).

If we follow Jesus’ divine injunction, “come unto Me,” we will see our weaknesses. As we conquer those weaknesses and are cleansed through His blood through faith and real repentance, we will be coming closer and closer to Him. The closer we get to Him, the more His light reveals further weakness and we are given the chance to repent of those things as well. Eventually we enter the fulness of His presence, His rest. This is why we read so often in the scriptures about entering into the rest of the Lord. Once we have become like Him, we find rest to our souls.

This process happens line upon line. We feel portions of His spirit as we strive to keep His commandments. When we arrive at peaks along the way, it can be tempting to think we’ve arrived. After time, we sense there is something more as He opens our minds and hearts to that reality. At that point, we can decide to leave the current plateau and go to the next peak. Each new peak brings new gut-wrenching challenges.

I love the way John describes why Jesus was rejected. We can learn if we are rejecting Him or receiving Him by pondering these words, “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God” (John 3:19-21).

I pray for strength to keep coming unto Him again and again. I pray for all of us to walk the path that He has shown. We must be aware that as we take the steps on the well marked path, we will eventually arrive at points on the trail that are only faintly shown. Few have sought to continue to climb the mount. In fact, in Moses’ day we learn that the children of Israel wanted Moses to climb the mount and know God and allow them to live their normal lives at the base of the mount.

We read, “Now this Moses plainly taught to the children of Israel in the wilderness, and sought diligently to sanctify his people that they might behold the face of God;

24 But they hardened their hearts and could not endure his presence; therefore, the Lord in his wrath, for his anger was kindled against them, swore that they should not enter into his rest while in the wilderness, which rest is the fulness of his glory” (Doctrine and Covenants 84:23-24).

Let us be faithful to Him. The gospel is simple but difficult. Simple to understand because we learn that all we need to do is become as God is. Difficult in the fact that to become as God is requires time, experience and faith to act on further light and knowledge. The path keeps opening up into greater vistas of opportunity and challenge. Will we take those steps that we sense we need to take? Will we come unto Jesus and be perfected in Him and receive eternal life by knowing Him? This is our great opportunity and challenge. Praise be to God and the Lamb that we can walk this path in the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Know for Yourself

 I’m so grateful for truth. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. I’m grateful He appears to men and women and gives them truth that they share with others. I’m grateful that He invites those He shares with to share openly that He has spoken to them and commanded them to share.

This is what Joseph Smith shared. He openly shared that He knew the Lord and then laid out the path to come to Christ and know Him in this life too.

“We have heard men who hold the priesthood remark that they would do anything they were told to do by those who preside over them (even) if they knew it was wrong; but such obedience as this is worse than folly to us; it is slavery in the extreme; and the man who would thus willingly degrade himself, should not claim a rank among intelligent beings, until he turns from his folly. A man of God would despise the idea. Others, in the extreme exercise of their almighty authority have taught that such obedience was necessary, and that no matter what the saints were told to do by their presidents, they should do it without any questions. When the Elders of Israel will so far indulge in these extreme notions of obedience as to teach them to the people, it is generally because they have it in their hearts to do wrong themselves.”  Joseph Smith, Millennial Star, vol.14 #38, pp. 593-95

It is recorded in the Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith that, “President Joseph Smith read the 14th chapter of Ezekiel—said the Lord had declared by the Prophet, that the people should each one stand for himself, and depend on no man or men in that state of corruption of the Jewish church—that  righteous persons could only deliver their own souls—applied it to the present state of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—said if the people departed from the Lord, they must fall—that they were depending on the Prophet, hence were darkened in their minds, in consequence of neglecting the duties devolving upon themselves, envious towards the innocent, while they afflict the virtuous with their shafts of envy” (TPJS p. 237-8).

The reason these truths are on my mind and heart is we live in a day when those we want to trust are not telling us the will of the Lord. There are presidents, rulers, priests and kings who act as if they have authority from God. They think that because they sit in the chief seats that they are equal to God. We must be in tune with the Spirit of the Lord and rise up and commune with God that we might know the way for ourselves.

Joseph Smith said these great words, “I know for myself…”. We must do the same. We must come to know for ourselves the truth, that no man may lead us astray.

In our current situation these truths are of the utmost importance. We have ample evidence that men and women of power, money and influence are supporting foundations that are vaccinating the population with the intent to depopulate the world. They now have us in a position where they can, and I believe they will, start placing restrictions upon us that we may not fly, enter businesses to buy or sell etc without identification stating that you are free from such and such a disease or that you’ve been vaccinated. The vaccine will not be as innocent and wonderful as those who promote it say it is.

I believe the scriptures, “ye are the temple of God.” We must be wise stewards over what is put into our bodies. We cannot give our agency to anyone who tells us what to do with or take into our bodies. It doesn’t matter who recommends a particular vaccine, we must go directly to the Lord to know for ourselves what we should do.

Follow the Lord - Whose on the Lord’s Side Who?

 It’s becoming more and more clear to me why the Lord allowed me to go through the opposition, lies and slander that my church leaders have put me through as I stood on the side of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and His true servants, Joseph Smith and others. I needed to be rocked from my position that men we sustain as prophets, seers and revelators are infallible as they lead the church. I went to the word of God for help and the Lord guided me to truth. Some of what I found I have shared on my posts.

We are seeing more and more clearly that we ought to believe the word of God and put our trust in Him and take heed that no man deceive us.

Men are telling us to take the covid test, comply with the mask and they will also tell us to comply and take the vaccination. The prophets have spoken in the scriptures. Ether 8 is fresh amongst us. If you trust in men or in the arm of flesh you will go through a horrible time.

What will you do if the leader of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints tells you to take the vaccination?

Scripturally the Lord has invited us to follow Him. Beware of false prophets who come to you in His name.

I pray that we will seek the Lord for strength. I know how hard it is to see through a glass darkly and sincerely believe you already are seeing clearly. The Lord will take us and temper us and give us new lenses if we allow Him to do so. We must humble ourselves before the word of God and His Holy Spirit.

I pray for all of us.

Is It of God to Question Leaders?

 I came across this article. Very good. I would add two things, “by their fruits ye shall know them,” and “whoso treasureth up my word, shall not be deceived.” Someone may say the right things but simply be flattering you into following them. They may be saying one thing and doing another.

Here is the article. Great food for thought. Essential to our salvation to consider what is taught here:

The Obedience of Jesus

What would have happened if Jesus was obedient to the leaders of the church?

Would He have accomplished His divine role as our Savior and Redeemer?

What will be required of us to follow Him?

I’m so grateful and full of love to Him, who obeyed His Father regardless of what others would say or do to Him. Praise be to God and the Lamb!

Did Jesus Wear a Mask?

 I don’t read a lot of blogs so forgive me if others have already observed and written this.

Is it repulsive for anybody but me to see deacons passing the sacrament with masks on or to see those partaking of the sacrament to have masks on—or to watch priests covering their mouths as they break the bread and bless the water? Can you imagine Jesus healing the leper standing 6 feet away with a mask on? There is a great scene in “The Chosen,” when the leper comes to Jesus seeking to be healed and His apostles shrink with fear, covering their faces in hopes to not be contaminated. They had forgotten that they were with the healer of the whole world. He had power over the elements, could cleanse one from sin and could heal any infirmity, even death. Yet, there they were, scared to death of getting sick. Yet, here we are, celebrating the Healer’s flesh and blood, the outer and inner man, the blood of Jesus and the physical body and actions of Jesus, and we act as if we are going to get sick. We are acting in fear. Faith cannot be present when we are full of fear. We should be full of faith in Jesus when we partake of His holy emblems.

When do we let go of political correctness in favor of standing for truth and righteousness?!?! Idols teach us by their words and deeds that Jesus isn’t the healer of the world, that we need to fear man more than God—that political correctness is more important than spiritual correctness. That physical death and discomfort is the most important part of our existence.

I cannot see the Savior of the whole world applauding our sacrament services. I can see Him humbly weeping for His children who are being deceived by the great deception. He longs for us to rise up and be counted as His true followers, true disciples, regardless of the persecutions that will follow.

Is it more important to be a good global citizen and act with an abundance of caution or to be a good citizen of the Lord, Jesus Christ, and live the abundant life with our faith in Him, and not in every wind of man’s doctrine. When was the Christian’s life more about living politically correct than living and dying manfully in the cause of Christ? Many walk around scared of dying or getting sick. Forgive me, but WHAT ON EARTH ARE WE DOING HERE!!!!!!!

We are here to prove faithful to the Lord, Jesus Christ! We are here to work out our salvation. We are here to become as He is!  He is not a weak, fearful, timid, politically correct puppet! Wake up disciples! Read our holy writ and rise up and be counted with the martyrs who lived and died in the faith of their Lord, holding tightly to the truth!

Rise up oh men and women of faith, men and women of God. The stage is set for the winding up scenes. Where do you stand? Choose to follow Him and not the siren calls that are incessantly piercing our ears.

He is the way, the truth, and the life! There is no other way nor means that man can be saved, only through the holy Messiah!

“And Jesus answered, and said unto them: Take heed that no man deceive you;

6 For many shall come in my name, saying—I am Christ—and shall deceive many;

7 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated of all nations, for my name’s sake;

8 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another;

9 And many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceive many;

10 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold;

11 But he that remaineth steadfast and is not overcome, the same shall be saved…

22 For in those days there shall also arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch, that, if possible, they shall deceive the very elect, who are the elect according to the covenant...

37 And whoso treasureth up my word, shall not be deceived, for the Son of Man shall come, and he shall send his angels before him with the great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together the remainder of his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” (JS—Matthew 1:5-11, 22, 37).

[False Christs promise salvation by a different way than Jesus showed us. False prophets preach a different gospel than is consistent with all the holy scriptures.]

The promise of safety and security was not the focal point of the teachings of the Lord, Jesus Christ. He has allowed many true disciples to be strangers in the wilderness, martyrs, outcasts, crazy men and women rejected from the societies of the day. The test is not to see if you’ll conform to society’s standards but to God’s standards.

My prayer is we can be faithful to Him. I need Him to give me courage to stand. He gives it abundantly as I come unto Him. He is the author and finisher of our faith. Beware of those that promise safety and security through any other way or means than the way of Jesus Christ.
