All Things Testify of Him!
I think it’s easy in our world to compartmentalize everything. For example, we go to school, we go to work, we go to church… I think this world is a time to learn, to grow, and repent and become. Everything around us testifies of Him and points us to Him. It reminds us of who we want to become.
I was doing different compost experiments this morning. I was thinking about how I needed the right amount of water, sunlight, carbon and manure. I thought about how Jesus is the living water, the warmth of the sun, and the bread and staff of life. The manure may be likened to our trials and all the opposition we have in life.
I’m grateful for a Creator that built this world in a way that all things testify of Him and point us to Him to remind us of who we want to become. Praise be to God and the Lamb!
“I have all things as a testimony that these things are true; and ye also have all things as a testimony unto you that they are true; ....ye have the testimony of all these thy brethren, and also all the holy prophets? The scriptures are laid before thee, yea, and all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator” (Alma 30:41,44).
